Free School Meals - how to apply.

You may be eligible for Free School Meals? Please apply via the link below. If approved you will receive an Evoucher to use to buy food for your child, whilst the school is in partial closure. Thank you.

Dear Parent/Carer

I hope you are all staying safe and following Government guidance about staying indoors in order to protect your loved ones. Please know, that even though your children are not in the building, staff are thinking of them daily and sending our best wishes to you all during this challenging time.

It is at times like these that I feel incredibly proud of how the whole community comes together to support each other and I, along with all OPAG staff, thank our Key Workers for their incredible work at this time.

In order to support your child’s learning whilst they are not in school, please continue to assist them in accessing their online tasks. Your child has access to: Google Classroom, Home Learning booklets, additional online resources such as My Maths and Timestable Rocks Stars and visiting the Primary Home Learning Website which is updated regularly.

If you are in receipt of Free School Meals you will have received a text with a link to follow to ensure your child receives an Evoucher. I am pleased to inform you that this Evoucher will continue over the Easter holiday also.

We know being at home with children can be challenging at times, along with additional pressures such as working on the front line, financial and employment difficulties. Please refer to our website if you are struggling at all and press the green button (Mental Wellbeing).

Please be aware the school telephone messages are only checked periodically, therefore, for any key concerns, during this time only, please contact Mrs Spedding via email; j.spedding@greystone.outwood.com.

Finally, may I take this opportunity to thank you all once more for your continued support in these challenging times.

Yours sincerely

Miss V Kirkman
